VS-T announces non-contact friction freeball valve

VS-T Valves in the Netherlands, together with Theo Tolboom is proud to announce the next generation non contact, friction free, metal seated ball valve in a QUARTER TURN DESIGN.
Much smaller actuators (40-60% less torque), price reduction, space savings due quarter turn design, lower power consumption, less maintenance costs, and zero fugitive emission.
This non contact quarter turn metal-seated ball valve is specially developed to meet the most extreme process conditions such as cooking and decooking services, sand, slurry and harsh applications, from Cryogenic -196 up to + 650 degrees celcius.

Characteristics (Third party tested):
– Cryogenic -196°
– High temperature +650°
– Firesafe
– ISO 15848
– TA Luft

VS-T in-house endurance testing upto 50.000 cycles with sand and gel as a test fluid to simulate the most extreme process conditions.

This non contact quarter turn design is the solution for RSBV replacement (it has many technical benefits compared to with the existing RSBV design), problem solving or metalseated ball, plug valve or any other valve replacement.

Due to this unique (patented) quarter turn design, and very low torque the valve will operate faster with even much smaller actuators (low price & low energy consumption) in compare with the Rising stem ball valve or any other metal seated ball valve!
