The Pneumatic Division (PDN) of Parker Hannifin Corp. has launched its new direct acting valve – XM Series. The series includes: XM inline valve: a 1/8in, 2-Position, single solenoid, spring return 3-way or 4-way valve with AC or DC operating voltages. The 12 and 24VDC coils are rated for mobile voltage operation; IEM – Inlet Exhaust Manifolds: 3-way and 4-way inline valves can be mounted on the same IEM Manifold. Three-way valves can be configured for normally open or normally closed function by mounting the 3-way valve 180 degrees opposite to each other; Subbase Manifolds: Inline valves have the working ports (2 and 4) tapped in the valve body. Subbase Valves require a manifold with working ports tapped 1/8in in each manifold station. Each manifold consists of a segmented subbase and an end plate kit. XM 3-Way and 4-Way subbase valves can be mounted on the same manifold assembly. PDN offers the XM Valve as the replacement to the Microking Series Valves, which will be discontinued 1 August 2007.
