ZMK Technologies GmbH is a German-based company in designing and manufacturing special valves for specific applications in refineries and petrochemical units. It was founded in 2014.
Having been accepted by the market in a very short period, ZMK Technologies has been in the position to increase its staff from 4 people (working in the office only) to almost 40 (including ZMK’s facilities) to fully satisfy constantly growing customer needs and expectations. Senior experts in the valve business have accumulated years of experience which is being returned to the market in a most customer orientated way. The same market acceptance is reflected in ZMK Technologies’ sales and its annual revenue has constantly grown over the last years leading to the revenue quintupling over the last 7 years.
After having been part of Advanced Holdings in Singapore for the first few years, ZMK Technologies was taken over by the Vexve Armatury Group (VAG) in June 2020 providing a strong financial background and enabling ZMK to produce in the group’s facilities.
Being an accepted vendor by all major licensors within the ethylene service, ZMK Technologies originally placed its main focus on this dedicated field of application and implemented an 11-point improvement plan including a patented BAFFLE technology to eliminate the common problem of 6 o’clock erosion within Transfer and Decoke line valves.
Additionally, ZMK Technologies is further strengthening its focus on the DCU, PDH, and FCC field of application, in which first orders have been received and successfully executed.
In addition to the supply of new valves, auxiliary equipment, and spare parts, ZMK provides shop and field service, valve refurbishment and overhaul of all kinds of OEM brands, valve upgrade with patented BAFFLE technology, valve modifications, installation, and use of pre-manufactured seat rings, supervision of complete turnarounds and assistance in emergencies.
