Larsen & Toubro’s Hydrocarbon vertical, known as L&T Energy Hydrocarbon (LTEH), has recently achieved a significant milestone by securing a major onshore gas pipeline project from a prestigious client based in the Middle East.
The project entails a comprehensive scope of work, including the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of two new 56″ pipelines, alongside the installation of associated scraper receivers, launchers, and mainline isolation valve (MLIV) Stations. These crucial components will run parallel to the existing pipeline corridor, enhancing infrastructure capabilities and operational efficiency.
Mr. Subramanian Sarma, Whole-time Director & Senior Executive Vice President (Energy) at L&T, expressed his enthusiasm about the project win, stating, “This represents the largest cross-country pipeline EPC project awarded to us to date, and we are thrilled to leverage our expertise for this strategic initiative.” This achievement underscores L&T’s commitment to delivering high-quality solutions and demonstrates its capability to undertake complex projects on a global scale.
The successful acquisition of this project further reinforces L&T’s position as a leading player in the hydrocarbon sector. As the company embarks on this endeavor, it remains dedicated to upholding its reputation for excellence and reliability in the energy infrastructure domain.
