Brazil EPCI contract

Coflexip Stena Offshore has announced that Flexibras, one of its Brazilian entities, and Coflexip have been awarded by Petrobras the Roncador EPCI contract for the design, procurement, installation and commissioning of approximately 566 km of flexible risers, flowlines and umbilicals, to tie-back 21 satellite sub-sea wells of the field to the P-36 platform. The Roncador field is located in the Campos Basin, approximately 125km off the Rio de Janeiro coast in Brazil, at 1400-1900m water depth. The contract comprises project management, engineering, supply and installation of approximately 374 km of flexible risers and flowlines as well as nearly 192km of umbilicals to connect 21 sub-sea wells and a gas lift manifold to the P-36 semi-submersible platform located in 1360m water depth. Flexible lines will be manufactured by both CSO’s plants located in Vitoria, Brazil, which capacity has been upgraded in 2000, and in Le Trait, France.
