Oliver Valves wins prestigious Manchester award
Oliver Valves, the Knutsford-based manufacturer of oil and gas valves for the global energy industry has scooped the GBP 50-100 million turnover category at the Manchester Evening News Business of the Year Awards.
It is the second time the business has been victorious at the awards in just three years, having won in the GBP 25-50 million bracket in 2010.
This year has been a year of awards success and recognition, with Oliver Valvetek – one of the three businesses in the Oliver family – winning a Queen’s Award for Enterprise and chairman Michael Oliver being awarded an OBE in the Queen’s birthday honours list. AS-Schneider receives highest award
