Apache buys ExxonMobil North Sea assets
Apache Corp. has announced that it has bought North Sea assets from ExxonMobil in a deal worth USD 1.75 billion. The deal, which includes the Beryl field, will increase Apache's North Sea production by 54% and its reserves by about 44%.
Swire Oilfield Services creates new jobs
Swire Oilfield Services has started work on its GBP 4 million Aberdeen headquarters, which will create up to 50 new jobs upon completion. The construction is part of a GBP 50 million investment for the company this year, supporting its global business development strategy.
