ABB products debut at IWEX

ABB will debut its latest instrumentation equipment and systems at IWEX 2008 (20-22 May 2008, Birmingham, UK).

Shtokman Phase 1 development contracts

Shtokman Development Co. (SDC) has awarded several engineering contracts associated with Phase 1 development of Shtokman natural gas-condensate field in the Barents Sea. Gas from Shtokman will be sent by pipeline to Europe in 2013, and LNG will be shipped to North America in 2014.

South Africa: coal-to-liquids facility

Foster Wheeler Ltd has announced that its South African subsidiary Foster Wheeler South Africa (Pty) Ltd, part of its Global Engineering and Construction Group, has been selected by Sasol Technology (Pty) Ltd to perform a pre-feasibility study for a proposed new coal-to-liquids (CTL) facility, known as Project Mafutha in South Africa.
