FAC received for new BLT at Salzgitter

Salzgitter’s BF “B” reline has been finished within 80 days, ahead of the 85-days schedule. Paul Wurth had received an order from SZFG in August 2014 which foresaw a complex job of modifications and replacement of components for the existing BLT.

CAREL valves are compatible with HFO refrigerants

KPMG reports on 2016 outlook flow control industry

KPMG have released a report on merger and acquisition activities in the flow control industry for 2016. Surinderpal Matharu, Head of Flow Control M&A at KPMG (formerly of IMI) was available for comment when contacted by Valve World: “Oil and gas prices, alongside the softening of manufacturing activity in Asia, have created a sense of uncertainty at the start of 2016.

STATS’s Flangeless Subsea Launcher

STATS Group, have developed a Flangeless Subsea Launcher (FSL) which can be positioned at any given position in depths of up to 2,220 metres.

The STATS designed FSL can be efficiently lowered to the seabed and introduced to an open pipe end without hyperbaric welding.

Pöyry secures 5 year contract with Gasum, Finland

Gasum and Pöyry have signed a five year framework agreement for engineering and project implementation services to develop, plan and implement Gasum's natural gas projects in Finland. Gasum's aim is to achieve smart and competitive natural gas solutions for Finnish markets.
