This causes premature thermal fatigue stress cracking in valves, which are also be subject to erosion from the abrasive nature of the catalyst.

Keppel secures contracts worth SGD 125M

In Singapore, Keppel O&M's wholly-owned subsidiary Keppel Shipyard Ltd (Keppel Shipyard) has secured two conversion contracts, the first is for a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Floating Storage Unit (FSU) vessel awarded by Armada Floating Gas Storage Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bumi Armada Berhad (Bumi Armada); the second is for a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel awarded by Yinson Production (West Africa) Pte Ltd (Yinson), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yinson Holdings Berhad.

Penta receives ABS Approval

In December 2015, Penta reached another target regarding the quality and reliability certification of their products. Penta’s model SAT CRIO class ANSI 150 has received ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) Approval for use on LNG (liquefied natural gas) vessels.

Aker and Saipem cooperate on subsea projects

The companies will engage with clients from the initial concept and design phase to promote total system engineering, providing the best solutions for construction, operations and maintenance.

AS-Schneider E Series gets fire safe approval

AS-Schneider, the specialist for industrial valves has received the Fire Safe Approval for its E Series Manifolds, meaning that the valves offer a safe and reliable shut-off also in case of fire. The valves tested were absolutely leak-free under extreme test conditions and were still fully operational after the testing.
