    Bowtech Products, a global subsea vision systems company, has been selected by the judging panel of the Grampian Awards for Business Excellence as finalist in the ‘Employer of the Year’ category 2014.

    KBR wins FEED contract for refinery upgrade

    KBR has been awarded a front-end engineering design (FEED) contract by Emirates National Oil Company Processing Company (EPCL) for the upgrade of its condensate refinery at Jebel Ali. The contract value was not disclosed.

    Manoir Industries renews HAF604 certification

    Manoir Industries announced last February 2013 that the Chinese National Nuclear Safety Administration (NNSA) qualified Manoir Industries to supply cast and forged components for the valves and pumps (level 1, 2 & 3) of Chinese nuclear power plants in addition to the initial qualification obtained in 2009 for piping on the primary level 1.

    Spirax Sarco launches fast-fit steam flow meter

    Schroeder Valves celebrates 125th anniversary

    Schroeder Valves celebrates 125 years of business this year. The history of the global specialist for protective pump fittings began in 1889, when Heinrich Schroeder established H. Schroeder & Co. in Gummersbach, a rural community east of Cologne, Germany.

    New slide gate valve from Vortex

    Vortex released its newly patented TPV slide gate valve. Engineered for higher-pressure applications with minimal maintenance, the TPV’s parameter is designed to handle up to 100psi. The TPV is also designed to withstand temperatures up to 350°C in gravity-flow, dilute-phase or dense-phase pneumatic conveying applications.

    SCS unveils jetting technology at APEX IPC Expo

    SCS announced the availability of jetting technology on the SCS Precisioncoat. SCS's new jetting valve, which is to be launched at APEX IPC Expo, allows the Precisioncoat to dispense fluids quickly and accurately, offering superior control when dispensing a wide variety of materials.

    New machining solution from Hydratight

    Joint integrity specialist Hydratight added the 2250P boring bar capable of covering a range of 2.5” to 24” diameter and lengths of up to 12ft., to its range of boring bar tools.

    Many of the design and performance elements of the 2250P have been inspired by the larger-capacity Hydratight 8200 series machines.
