Trelleborg supplies fenders to three LNG developme

Trelleborg Marine Systems has been awarded three contracts to supply fender systems to all three liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects on Queensland’s Curtis Island, Australia. Trelleborg has been chosen to supply the Queensland Curtis LNG, Gladstone LNG and Australia Pacific LNG projects with state-of-the-art SCN Super Cone and ANP Arch Fender Systems.

GE Oil & Gas to support Statoil’s Snøhvit CO2 inje

GE Oil & Gas has been awarded a USD 147M engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from Statoil. Under the contract, GE will supply subsea production and injection equipment for Statoil’s Snøhvit carbon dioxide (CO2) injection project, designed to provide a robust CO2 solution.

Aker Solutions wins Murphy contract in Malaysia

Aker Solutions has signed an agreement with Murphy Sarawak Oil to deliver as many as 24 sets of splitter wellhead systems. The contract, which includes deliveries of ancillary equipment and services, is worth USD 15M and spans over three years with an extension period of one year.

Keppel O&M to build semisubmersible for Azerbaijan

Keppel Offshore & Marine (Keppel O&M) through its subsidiaries Caspian Rigbuilders BV (an affiliated company of Keppel FELS) and Caspian Shipyard Company (CSC), has secured a contract from Caspian Drilling Company, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), to build a semisubmersible drilling rig, which includes owner-furnished equipment, worth about USD 800M.

Aker Solutions wins Heidrun platform equipment fra

Aker Solutions has won a frame agreement from Statoil to supply, refurbish and store compensation equipment used to stabilise and control production risers on the Heidrun platform in the North Sea. The contract value is undisclosed.

WorleyParsons to design Samsung’s FPSO in Nigeria

WorleyParsons has won the Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) contract for the detailed design and engineering for the topsides process modules of the floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel for a deep-water oil field located offshore Nigeria.

Hydrasun, a specialist provider of integrated fluid transfer, power and control solutions to the global energy market, has secured a five-year contract with two one-year extension options for the continued supply of Flexible Hose Assembly (FHA) and Small Bore Tubing (SBT) integrity management services together with product supply, to Shell U.

Technip to service new PTA plant in China

Technip has been awarded a services contract by BP Zhuhai Chemical Company, a joint venture between BP and Zhuhai Port, for the execution of a new world-scale Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) plant at their Zhuhai site in the Guangdong Province, China.

Business alliance between KITZ Group and G.I.V.A.

KITZ Group and GIVA Group have entered into a business alliance. The CEO's of both companies signed the contract in the KITZ Nagasaka Plant in Yamanashi, Japan.  KITZ Group, head quartered in Japan, is a globally operating valve manufacturer and consists of 33 companies mainly providing production and sales of both commercial and industrial valves.

Alaska SC LNG project fieldwork begins
