Valvekits to distribute Centork positioners in UK

Rotork Valvekits, the Rotork flow control group’s specialist valve mounting kit company, has been appointed as the UK stockist and distributor for the Centork range of valve positioners. Centork pneumatic positioners are designed for the operation of quarter-turn or linear actuated valves with a proportional control signal.

Z&J appoints Gerceker

Mr Ekkehard Broszka has retired from the business after many years with Z&J Technologies GmbH (Z&J), Stefan Derichs, who has also been with Raco and Z&J for many years and who shared the Managing Director role with Broszka, has decided to leave the company later this year to pursue other career opportunities.

ExxonMobil Singapore expands

ExxonMobil’s Singapore Chemical Plant is now producing ethylene from the facility’s second world-scale steam cracker. The expansion is integrated with the existing petrochemical plant. Over the next few weeks, the petrochemical complex, powered by a 375-megawatt cogeneration plant, will increase production at its three polyethylene plants, two polypropylene plants, a specialty metallocene elastomers unit and the expanded oxo-alcohol and aromatics units.
