Honeywell to acquire Thomas Russell Co.

newsitemHoneywell said that its UOP business has signed a definitive agreement to purchase a 70 percent-stake in Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Thomas Russell Co., a privately-held, leading provider of technology and equipment for natural gas processing and treating.

GE to supply gas-fired turbines in Saudi Arabia

GE said it received a contract to supply eight 7F 5-series gas turbine-generators for the expansion of Saudi Electricity Co.’s (SEC) Riyadh Power Plant 12 (PP12). GE said the project will add nearly 2,000 MW of power to support SEC in meeting its future electricity demands when it enters commercial operation in 2015.

FasTest introduces G-Series

FasTest introduces its new line of G-Series connectors for compressed gas filling applications. Designed to connect to CGA 540, 580 and 580 RPV gas valves, the connector series delivers rapid, repeatable connections to pressure vessels, making them ideal for bulk filling facilities.

CNNC chooses DAHER to supply Tianwan plant

DAHER-VANATOME, the division of the DAHER Group which specialises in equipment for nuclear islands, will supply 120 safety valves for the new nuclear reactors at the Tianwan power plant. All this equipment will be designed, qualified and manufactured by DAHER-VANATOME at the St-Vallier (Drôme) plant.
