Honeywell to acquire Thomas Russell Co.
Honeywell said that its UOP business has signed a definitive agreement to purchase a 70 percent-stake in Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Thomas Russell Co., a privately-held, leading provider of technology and equipment for natural gas processing and treating. GE to supply gas-fired turbines in Saudi Arabia
GE said it received a contract to supply eight 7F 5-series gas turbine-generators for the expansion of Saudi Electricity Co.’s (SEC) Riyadh Power Plant 12 (PP12). GE said the project will add nearly 2,000 MW of power to support SEC in meeting its future electricity demands when it enters commercial operation in 2015.

All this equipment will be designed, qualified and manufactured by DAHER-VANATOME at the St-Vallier (Drôme) plant.
