The new CVL-5000 actuator extends the scope of Rotork Process Controls’ innovative CVA electric control valve actuator range to enable the automation of larger valves and valves with higher pressure ratings.

Fairstar Heavy Transport wins float-over contract

Fairstar Heavy Transport N.V. (FAIR) has won a contract by Saipem S.p.A. to provide float-over and installation services to Saipem for the 8000tns CMMP Platform in the Persian Gulf, off-shore Iraq. Saipem has contracted the new 50,000DWT semi-submersible vessel FINESSE for the transportation of the CMMP module from the fabrication facility in Karimun, Indonesia in the second half of 2013.

Siemens lands GLNG contract

Siemens Energy said it has been awarded a contract to provide long-term maintenance services for the pioneering Santos GLNG Project in Queensland, Australia. The multi-million dollar service order is Siemens’ largest ever for its small gas turbine (SGT) product line.

Air valves for sea water / offshore application
