Demand for valves to double by 2030
The McIlvaine Co has recently published a report that indicates the demand for industrial valves will expand from its present level of just under USD 50 billion/yr to over USD 100 billion/yr by 2030. New Adanac sales office

New valve testing facility
A new valve testing facility has opened in Heinkenszand in The Netherlands. ITIS B.V. (Industrial testing & inspection Services) is an independent company providing customized services to various industries, including power generation, chemical and petrochemical, oil & gas, pulp and paper, mining, cryogenic and other high risk industries.
Te Mihli geothermal project
Contact Energy has been contracted by a consortium of McConnell Dowell Constructors, SNC-Lavalin Constructors, and PB New Zealand to build a USD 623 million Te Mihli geothermal project.
Biomass power plant in Uganda
Taylor Biomass Energy Uganda (TBEU) is investing USD160million to build a biomass power plant in Uganda.

An innovative Control Cartridge is used to turn triple eccentric butterfly valves into control valves with exceptional control characteristics, as well as Class IV, V, or VI metal-to-metal, fire safe shut-off. They are readily available in carbon steel, stainless steel and special alloys for liquids, gasses, and steam at temperatures from cryogenic up to 850F in 150, 300 and 600 ANSI pressure classes, from 3 in through 48 in, with a wide choice of actuators and control accessories.
RWE Npower Renewables has obtained permission from the Scottish government to build a hydroelectric power plant near Kylestrome.
