Velan is a world leading manufacturer of state-of-the-art valves for a wide range of industrial applications. Founded in Montreal, Canada in 1950 by A.K. Velan, the company currently operates globally with 12 specialized manufacturing plants located globally in North America, Europe and Asia, 2 stocking distribution centers, and hundreds of distributors and service shops worldwide.
With many first-to-market innovations, Velan produces one of the most comprehensive product lines from a single manufacturer, including cast- and forged steel gate, globe, check, ball, triple offset, butterfly, highly engineered severe service valves, and steam traps. Velan valves are available in a variety of materials and design options. Sizes vary from 1/4 ” to 80″, pressure ratings from vacuum to over 10,000 psi and temperature ratings from cryogenic and up to 1,500 °F. Each Velan valve is designed and manufactured with quality as a priority and incorporates many unique design features to meet performance requirements, environmental standards, simple maintenance, and reliable service.
