Hunt Valve’s descale valves are designed to provide the descale impingement with the least amount of water and provide the highest pressure possible to the descale headers, maintaining this pressure throughout the strip length.
Hunt Valve’s proportional poppet valve for descaling applications lasts three to five times longer than traditional poppet valves. Removing the effects of water hammer and system shock, this valve promotes safety, reduces annual operating costs and decreases unscheduled downtime in the plant. Proportional poppet valve technology is ideal for all descale applications, including minimum flow pump bypass, descale header control, accumulator safety shut-off, and header pre-fill.
