Bioengineering AG (Wald, Switzerland) has introduced its Memtiles series – a complete diaphragm line for sterile and hygienic applications. The Bioengineering valve bodies are available from DN08 to DN150 and are fabricated from AISI 316 or as specified with any requested surface finish. Any connection type and any combination of connections are possible: weld-end (DIN, ISO, Imperial), various thread types, Triclamp or customer-specific solutions. Special designs such as ring valves and T-valves have been developed to solve specific transfer configurations, e.g. sterile valve assemblies, cleaning-in-place piping.
The Bioengineering valve bodies are combined with manual or pneumatic actuators for upto 150 degrees C and 10 bar pressure and are fully CIP- and SIPable. The pneumatic actuator is made of stainless steel and is autoclavable and solvent resistant.
