Frost & Sullivan (San Jose, California, USA), the international strategic market consulting company, has conferred its 2002 Market Leadership Award to Tyco Flow Control for its exceptional performance in the European industrial valves and actuators market.
Improved temperature valve
Amot Controls has redesigned and enhanced its G Valve three-way temperature control valve, making it more economical and compact while also reducing unit weight and installation costs, and at the same time upgrading performance with a 70% increase in flow capability.
Foster Wheeler wins Dutch award
Foster Wheeler Italiana SpA has been awarded a contract by Kuwait Petroleum Europoort for the revamp of a vacuum unit and some hydrodesulphurisation units at its refinery at Europoort, near Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Braemar award
Technip-Coflexip has announced that one of its UK entities, Coflexip Stena Offshore Ltd (CSOL), has been awarded the pipelines and subsea infrastructure EPIC contract from Marathon Oil UK Ltd for the Braemar field and the Brae B to Miller gas transfer pipeline developments in the Northern North Sea.
