Shell and Norsk Hydro team up for green hydrogen
Royal Dutch Shell and Norsk Hydro (aluminium producer) have announced that they both want to produce hydrogen from renewable electricity to decarbonise their own operations and supply green hydrogen to heavy industries and transport customers.Both companies recently have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) and have started to identify pathways to produce and supply renewable hydrogen.
